TIFF Capsule Reviews
This is the busiest time of the year. And the busiest time is not Christmas for film critics in Toronto. And for many film buffs as well. It is the time of TIFF - the Toronto International Film Festival. Films are pre-screened for reviews 3 weeks prior which means more than 4 weeks of busy, busy, busy.

Montreal's Doc Film Festival
Montréal, Monday August 25 2008 – After a 10th anniversary edition that saw over 18,000 people attend the festival, the 11th edition of the Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (RIDM) offers a diverse program with a hundred films from the four corners of the planet. Opening The Week of August 22
Opening this week are two quirky comedies “Henry Poole is Here” and “Hamlet 2”. For teens and pre-teens, “THe House Bunny” provides the laughs. Rock fans are not forgotten with “The Rocker” opening earlier Wednesday. Looks like a comedy week at the movies!
