BLADE:TRINITY news

image

Hollywood North Report recently published some exclusive behind-the-scenes pics from Blade:Trinity. The film is currently shooting on-location in Vancouver. Most of the pics are of Wesley Snipes in full Blade gear as well as a few of his stunt double. Check them out by clicking on the photo above.

In other Blade:Trinity news, Parker Posey has joined the cast. Posey will play a vampire hunted by the team of vampire-hunters.

Also, New Lines is reportedly already planning a spin-off film featuring the vampire hunters played by Jessica Biehl and Ryan Reynolds.

New ELF trailer and site

image New Line Cinema recently launched a full site for the Will Ferrell holiday comedy ELF. The site is pretty loaded with info about the film, elf-cards, wallpapers and coloring pages for the kids. Most exciting is a full version of the trailer which reveals a lot more about the films premise and supporting characters. I predict this movie is going to be HUGE. It opens on the same day as Matrix:Revolutions, but the PG-rating, holiday theme and Will Ferrell are going to give this flick a fighting chance.

RETURN OF THE KING trailer... Friday!

New Line announced today that the 2 and 1/2 minute official trailer for Return of the King will premiere this Friday, exclusively on screens showing Secondhand Lions. If you can hold out a few more days, you’ll be able to download the trailer Monday from the official site.

TARANTINO: "This CGI bullshit is the death of cinema."

Empire Magazine recently caught Quentin Tarantino at his most riled up. The interview will appear in their November issue (on stands September 26). In the interview Tarantino mentions something that happend when he screened KILL BILL for director Luc Besson and “actor” Keanu Reeves.

“I watched Keanu watching and I suddenly felt it,’ said Tarantino. “You know, my guys are all real. There’s no computer ***censored*** around. I’m sick to death of all that ***censored***. This is old school with ***censored*** cameras. If i’d wanted all that computer game bullshit, I’d have gone home and stuck my dick in my Nintendo.

“This CGI bullshit is the death knell of cinema. Movies are far too ***censored*** expensive at the moment and it’s killing the ***censored*** art form. The way it’s going, in ten year’s time it will officially be killed.”

Check out Empire’s November issue for more details including some revelations about KILL BILL VOLUME 2. “Vol 1 is a pure burst of adrenaline. Two we slow it down a little bit, you get to know the characters more, especally Bill; he’s in every other ***censored*** frame. Two’s more like my other movies, the dialogue comes to the fore, and it’s more chronologically ***censored***. And it really ain’t gonna end pretty.”

FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH

The rumors started circulating before FREDDY VS. JASON even hit U.S. theater screens. Fanboys were abuzz that there would be a sequel that would introduce Bruce Campbell’s EVIL DEAD character ASH into the mix. Campbell himself was quick to deny these rumors. However, it now seems like he is whistling a slightly different tune.

Campbell recently spoke to the Seattle Times to promote his latest flick BUBBA HO-TEP. When asked about FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH, he had this to say:

“Some executives at New Line are getting (excited) for that idea — which makes a lot of sense. But Ash has not been contacted to see what his franchise rate is. Funny thing is, it’s actually a really cool idea, as long as there could be a satisfying end to that particular movie. There’d be no point for Ash to participate unless he could kick some major franchise ***censored***.”

Very cool, indeed!
