Academy Award Nominations
Here is the no-nonsense complete list of the Oscar nominations.
Surprising is the French “Persepolis” being snubbed in the Best Foreign Film category and earning a nomination in the Best Animation category. Brits Julie Christie and Daniel Day Lewis are favourites to win for best acting while Cate Blanchett is nominated twice for “Elizabeth - The Golden Age” and “I’m Not There”.
Jon Stewart hosts the second time around.
