ROCKY 6 starts shooting in December
Believe it or not, Rocky Balboa will be returning to the big screen for at least one more movie. ROCKY 6 is slated to begin filming in December. It stars Sylvester Stallone, of course, and focuses on Rocky’s attempt to come out of retirement by fighting lwo-profile local fights. He is soon approached to fight the heavyweight champ. Stallone is also preparing to bring back his other iconic character in RAMBO IV.

The new James Bond is... Daniel Craig
The Daily Mail is reporting that the search for the next James Bone is over. Daniel Craig, seen most recently in LAYER CAKE, has been tapped to play 007 in CASINO ROYALE. The choice for the sixth James Bond came down to a decision between Craig and Henry Cavill. Craig won out after a tuxedo fitting so the producers could see how he would look in Bond’s wardrobe of choice. Craig will be the first blond James Bond.

SPOTLIGHT: The Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection
ALFRED HITCHCOCK: THE MASTERPIECE COLLECTION is one of the most beautiful DVD sets I have had the pleasure to own. It’s a velvet lined box with a door on the front that slides open to reveal 4 DVD cases. Each case is beautifully designed in its own right, designed using original release posters from the movies within. Each of the cases up to four DVDs - bringing the total to 14 movies and one bonus disc of special features. The box also contains a slender booklet with promotional art and brief synopses for each of the movies. Needless to say, it will take quite a bit of time to get through this collection, not to mention write reviews on all the films contained within. But I wanted to give you a heads-up on this great package. If you are a Hitchcock fan and you definitely need to check this one out.

Arnie is Back!
It looks like ruling the world isn’t priority #1 for Arnold Schwarzenegger anymore. He has decided to come out of retirement for two big money sequels: TERMINATOR 4 and TRUE LIES 2. Supposedly, both of these films will be collaborations with James Cameron. Cameron hasn’t exactly been prolific lately, so for me, this is a little hard to believe, but this seems to be accurate information based on several different sources.
