Two Sisters Remake

Hollywood Reporter reported that Dreamworks has picked director Tom and Charlie Guard (don’t ask me as I don’t know what they have done) to helm the Hollywood remake of Korean horror film A TALE OF TWO SISTERS. The original was directed by Kim Jee-woon (A BITTERSWEET LIFE). Well, the remake’s plot hasn’t changed or Americanized since it follows teenage sisters Anna and Alex Rydell who return home from a looney tune institute only to find their recovery unraveling because of their mean stepmother or is there other reason? Can they really just release the original because it is a brilliant film, one of the best horror films that came from Korea. The production slated to start this fall.
