This Week's Film Reviews (Aug 29)
Among this week’s openings are “Disaster Movie”, “Babylon A.D.” and “College”, all three of which had no press screenings. This means ‘avoid’.
Also opening are “Goal 2: Living the Dream” and “Traitor”. These are also nothing to write home about. Looks like “Tropic Thunder” and “The Dark Knight” are still the best bets or ‘Must-Seah’s.

THe New Coen Brothers Film
The Coen Brothers’ latest is a black comedic delight – no doubt about it. BURN AFTER READING had the critics present at the Toronto International Film Festival pre-screening in stitches half the time – me included. The film has a Gala Premiere at TIFF before it opens wide on September the 12th. Watch for this one.
Check the film’s capsule review in the TIFF capsule review section.
