CREEPSHOW 3 teaser
I’ve heard rumblings about CREEPSHOW 3 but haven’t paid much attention to them until now. After viewing the laughably terrible and cheap-looking “teaser" for CREEPSHOW 3, it’s hard to believe that the original CREEPSHOW was a major release written by Stephen King and directed by George Romero. When I was a young kid, that movie was one of the ultimate horror movies. But this like most of the other properties Romero helped launch has fallen into the hands of bottom feeders. Go check out the “teaser” at the official CREEPSHOW 3 site and let us know what you think via the comments.

Angelina Jolie in BOND?
The Guardian reports that Angelina Jolie might be the newest Bond girl. Unconfirmed rumors have her in negotiations to play Vesper Lynd, a Russian double agent in CASINO ROYALE. This would reunite her with her TOMB RAIDER co-star Daniel Craig, who has been cast as the new James Bond.

NARNIA: "Racist, misogynistic and reactionary"
In a recent interview with The Observer, author Philip Pulman (HIS DARK MATERIALS) had a few choice words about the Narnia series. “If the Disney corporation wants to market this film as a great Christian story, they’ll just have to tell lies about it,” said Pullman. Pullman went on to characterize the books as “a peevish blend of racist, misogynistic and reactionary prejudice” and “not a trace” of Christian charity. Pullman is the author of the acclaimed HIS DARK MATERIALS trilogy which tells the story of a fight to overthrow God. His books have been attacked by Christian leaders as blasphemous. (Via: BBC)

Director admits ELEKTRA sucked
As bad as DAREDEVIL was, I actually held out a small amount of hope that ELEKTRA would be cool. After all, it at least featured Jennifer Garner in pre baby-making shape, wearing skimpy costumes and fighting bad guys. Unfortunately, the movie was terrible. There were elements that hinted at coolness, but nothing ever came together. In an interview with Now Playing, ELEKTRA director Rob Bowman basically admits that the movie sucked and goes on to offer a few excuses.
I knew going into the project, because of the short prep, because I only had Jennifer for her hiatus from Alias, which was ten weeks, and [because of] the short postproduction, that we weren’t going to be able to make SPIDER-MAN. We didn’t have the time to make SPIDER-MAN. We didn’t have the time to make DAREDEVIL! That was OK, because I was not making a movie about size and spectacle, about giant visual effects. The best movies are stories about people and their inner struggles - those are my favorite films. I finally said, ‘Let’s not get down about the fact that we don’t have the time to make BATMAN or SPIDER-MAN. Let’s embrace what we do have, which is a very interesting character.’
Unfortunately, they weren’t true to the character of ELEKTRA because the real Elektra would have killed off that annoying kid and her dad thus making it a very cool movie.
