SERENITY DVD details

I still haven’t seen SERENITY but it is at the top of my list. The buzz around this movie at FANTASTIC FEST has been incredible. It’s not actually playing at the fest, but everybody I run into seems to be talking about it. The DVD is already in the works for a December 20th release and The Digital Bits were able to score a few details. This is unconfirmed at this date, but bonus features are rumored to include:
- Video introduction to the film by Whedon
- Whedon audio commentary
- Future History featurette
- We’ll Have a Fruity Oaty Good Time featurette
- Re-Lighting the Firefly featurette
- What’s in a Firefly featurette
- The Other Side of Serenity featurette
- Serenity’s Roman Orgy featurette
- 6 Minutes of outtakes

You should have really checked your facts a bit more. Item 7 (The Other Side of Serenity) and Item 8 (Serenity’s Roman Orgy) are nothing to do with the Serenity film and Digital Bits do not even mention them. If you are going to get your second hand information from the BBFC at least make sure you are reporting the correct information.
Serenity’s Roman Orgy is a porn film for one thing!!!
There are factual errors in regards to the ‘bonus featurettes’ listed for Serenity. They are:
1. There are no “outtakes”. Each scene was filmed perfectly on the first take.
2. The “Serenity’s Roman Orgy” featurette is 60 minutes long (not the 6 listed on the aforementioned non-existent featurette. I assume this was where the confusion came in).
Please update your site to reflect this more accurate information.
LOL! is 60 minutes really long enough? there’s several characters that need an equal share of screen time in that “featurette”
