Anchoring at Festival of Fear, Toronto

DETAILS:  Horror leader Anchor Bay Entertainment will have a huge presence at August 22nd through to the 24th at the
Toronto Convention Centre for the 2008 Festival Of Fear, the 5th installment of Canada’s premiere horror event.

Fans will be able to meet and greet with their favorite Anchor Bay Entertainment filmmakers and stars, and get behind-the-scenes insight into their projects:

Black Christmas will be screened with stars John Saxon and Art Hindle in attendance, they will discuss the production of this classic slasher movie in a panel afterwards. Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada and CRiTiCAL MASS Releasing Inc. will bring this title to DVD this fall.
A screening of Jack Brooks Monster Slayer hosted by Director Jon Knautz, Writer John Ainslie, and Special Effects and Creature Designer David Scott will give fans an exclusive look into the production of this great soon-to-be horror classic.
Meet the filmmakers of End of the Line, Maurice Devereaux, and Scarce, Jesse T Cook and John Geddes, two new homegrown horror films being screened with the Directors in person.
Director and Special Effects Artist Robert Hall and Actress Bobbi Sue Luther discuss the production of Laid To Rest and offer fans a sneak peak of Anchor Bay’s exciting new horror slasher in a panel discussion.
The chilling new realistic horror Home Movie will be screened with the Director Christopher Denham in attendance
Durham County Season One sneak peek and panel discussion featuring stars Hugh Dillon and Helene Joy, and Creators Adrienne Mitchell and Janis Lundman hosted by Rue Morgue Magazine’s Dave Alexander.
Actual production props and artwork from upcoming Anchor Bay releases, and a full monster prosthetics suit from Jack Brooks Monster Slayer, a bust from Hilarious House of Frightenstein at Anchor Bay’s FOF booth (#1038).


The following Anchor Bay Entertainment-sponsored events will allow fans to see the newest titles heading for DVD as well as meet, greet and talk with their favorite ABE stars and filmmakers!
