September 7th, 2005 by Cinema Eye
The cult-hit comic book series 30 DAYS OF NIGHT is coming to the big screen and now has a director attached. David Slade, director of music videos and the dark festival hit HARD CANDY, has signed on to direct the movie for Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures. The story concerns a small Alaska town that experiences 30 days a year without sunlight. This makes it a convenient feeding ground for blood-thirsty vampires.
