Arnie is Back!

It looks like ruling the world isn’t priority #1 for Arnold Schwarzenegger anymore. He has decided to come out of retirement for two big money sequels: TERMINATOR 4 and TRUE LIES 2. Supposedly, both of these films will be collaborations with James Cameron. Cameron hasn’t exactly been prolific lately, so for me, this is a little hard to believe, but this seems to be accurate information based on several different sources.
I am particularly looking forward to TRUE LIES 2. It looks like all of the original cast is back, including Eliza Dushku (Buffy, Tru Calling) as Arnie’s daughter. Dushku told Contact Music: “We all caught up. Me, Jamie Lee, Arnold, and Jim, to talk about TRUE LIES 2, about a month ago in California. We’re doing it. Definitely doing it. I’m revved.”
John Rosengrant at Stan Winston Studios also confirmed that prelimary work on TERMINATOR 4 has begun.
