Blade fans gets lucky

Variety reported today that Jessica Biehl will be joining the cast of Blade III. Biehl will play the daughter of Kris Kristofferson’s Whistler character from the previous films. Her character will play one-half of a vampire hunter team. The other half is unfortunately portrayed by Van Wilder’s Ryan Reynolds.

Perhaps most noteworthy is the lightning quick and ultra-enthusiastic reaction of movie news sites to report this news. We suspect the enthusiastic reaction is probably just giddy joy at having a reason to post scantily clad photos of the former Seventh Heaven actress as part of their news reports.
