Deborah Kerr passes on.....

One of my favourite and most respected film actresses Deborah Kerr passed away last week October 16th in Suffolk at the age of 86.  Kerr had appeared in many distinguished films throughout her career and won 6 Oscar nominations though she had never won.  She is best remembered in the beach kissing scene with Burt Lancaster in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY.  I remember her best as Anna in the musical version of THE KING AND I though my favourite Kerr role is her hamming it up with strong Scots accent as agent Mimi Flora McTarry in CASINO ROYALE.  I am very sad.
