Winner of the Sundance Special Jury Prize and hailed by Variety as “inspiring… something of a miracle,” TIBET IN SONG is a harrowing journey into the past 50 years of cultural repression inside Tibet, showcasing the beauty of traditional Tibetan folk music through rarely seen performances. TIBET IN SONG will screen on Wednesday, December 16, at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at the Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor Street West. Filmmaker Ngawang Choephel will be in attendance for the screening.
