THE KING’S SPEECH TO AID CANADIAN RED CROSS JAPAN EMERGENCY RELIEF

Alliance Films and Canadian Motion Picture Exhibitors come together to donate proceeds from select presentations of the Academy Award® winning film The King’s Speech

For immediate release:

Alliance Films, Cineplex Entertainment, Empire Theatres and AMC Theatres® have joined together to raise funds in support of the recent devastation in Japan.  All proceeds from select first evening presentations of the Academy Award® winning film The King’s Speech will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross’ Japan Earthquake Asia Pacific Tsunami Appeal. 

100% of the proceeds of the following first evening presentations on Saturday March 19th will be donated:

Cineplex Entertainment:

7:10 p.m. at Cineplex Odeon Victoria Cinemas, 780 Yates Avenue, Victoria, BC

6:30 p.m. at Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver, 900 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC

7:20 p.m. at Scotiabank Theatre Chinook, 6455 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary AB

8:00 p.m. at Cineplex Odeon South Edmonton Cinemas, 1525-99th Street NW, Edmonton, AB

6:45 p.m. (VIP cinema) and 7:20 p.m. at Cineplex Odeon Varsity and VIP Cinemas, 55 Bloor Street W, Toronto, ON

6:20 p.m. at SilverCity Gloucester Cinemas, 2385 City Park Drive, Ottawa, ON

Empire Theatres:

6:30 p.m. at Empire Grant Park 8 Cinemas, Unit 127 -1120 Grant Ave, Winnipeg, MB

6:25 p.m. at Empire Theatres Bayers Lake, 190 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax, NS

AMC Theatres:

7:20 p.m. at AMC Forum 22 2313 St. Catherine St. West, Suite 101, Montreal QC
