It’s Tuesday and as any DVD freak knows, that means… NEW RELEASES. One of the most popular features of our message boards has been our DVD WHORE thread where everybody talks about what they compulsively bought that week. Now that we have our fancy commenting system in place, I thought it might be fun to move DVD WHORE to the main page. The highlights for me this week are the MAN ON FIRE 2-Disc set and the Frank Sinatra detective movies, particularly TONY ROME. I’ve heard the transfers on the Sinatra discs are incredible.

I just picked up Man On Fire All-Access Collector’s Edition. thats it for me this week.
I have to figure out how to get to Best Buy here in Austin. I’m still getting lost everywhere I go, but it’s fun. If there are any Austin readers, tell me about the best places to buy DVDs. It will be much appreciated.
its no new release but i just finally picked up American Movie today. i don’t know why i waited this long. also It Had To Be You (new Karena Lam film) came in.
I’m a week late, but I got TEAM AMERICA: WORLD POLICE. I flirted with getting SPEED RACER VOL. 3, but since I haven’t even watched the VOL. 2 I bought, it can wait.
I’ll be picking up NEWSRADIO as soon as I can. 20 group commentaries and a 10-minute gag reel. If I didn’t have family coming in from out of town I’d watch the whole ***censored*** thing this weekend.
