Eartha Kitt Passes Away on Christmas Day

December 26th, 2008 by Gilbert Seah

Weekend Box Office

Emmy Award winner Eartha Kitt known best for her song “Santa Baby” passed away in a New York hospital on Christmas Day after a 2-year battle with colon cancer.

She also did a few acting roles, my favourite being the role of Freya in Terry Jone’s “Erik the Viking”.  She also did the voice on Yzma in “The Emperor’s New Groove”.

She will surely missed by all her fans.  She was quite the sex kitten in her hey days.
