But our pals at the Daily Starlet have somehow managed to get their hands on a photo of Tobey Maguire in action wearing the black Spidey costume. For one Tobey Maguire is to old to play as Spiderman. They should have made him appear younger. As for the suit, its quite hidious looking. If there trying to make it look like the Black and White spider costume (also known as the symbiote costume), they are way off.

Molicious hit the nail on the head there. as for the look of the suit , its not going to look like the comics. most likely it is suposed to look something like that. a movie translation of the suit even venom is alegedly looking different. he was described as having no white on him and there is a veiny looking pattern that forms the spider on his chest and back. those rumors could all be false but im betting the costume and venom wont be completely true to the comic as far as looks.

well if u look in the official website of spiderman 3,u can see in his eyes that there is the green goblin face staring at him(the same villain,harry osborn?).i observed it when the camera thingy zoomed into his face and i captured tat area.if u enlarge it,u can see green goblin 2 round eyes(big enuff to see) and his mouth where u will see a gap in between them,not to forget his nose.u can look at the previous movies of spiderman and see whether the green goblin match with wad u saw.i think im right.so of all the villains yet to be confirmed,green gob is definitely being screened.
thats how the suite going to look but that picture is fake i also know as a fact that there will be SANDMAN VENOM GOBLIN and a small apperance from MYSTIRIO and harry will die and aunt may will die and the goblin and spidey team up to fight venom and sandman in the last part of the movie.

That is similar to what the costume will look like, but its fake. The spider on his chest in the 3rd one looks a little more menacing than the one in the picture (the new spider looks more like the spider on his back from the 1st/2nd movie). And of course there’s the whole “symbiotes don’t rip” thing.. They did mess up how the webs come out of his hands though, on the symbiote costume arent they supposed to come out of the white spots on the back of his hands (not his palms, like the regular one)?

Well i just found out that it is really the venom costume but the spiderman isnt the same spiderman. the venom costume can change shape right well it is framing spiderman for something in the movie y loking like him but sinve venom is black and not red and blue the suit turns out to be black. so all these pictures of spiderman in a black costume are a hoax. it is venom making himself look like spiderman. and if you dont bieleve me look at the spider on the black suit then look at the sipder on the red and blue suit. so thats the way it is so get over it.

All right, let’s be realistic here. First, I’ve seen a duplicate of this picture with Spider-Man in the traditional costume; so, we can rule the photo out as a fake. However, I’ve seen enough evidence in the trailer to assume that Spider-Man will be encountering the symbiote suit. But why does Spider-Man’s new suit have no white spider which we are all used to associating with the black suit and Venom? Allow me to propose my theory: When the symbiote first joined Spider-Man, it covered his costume, and was patterned with a white spider similar to Spider-Woman’s costume, which Spider-Man had been admiring - this much is fact from the comics. However, in the movie, I very much doubt that they’ll make Spidey encounter the suit in the correct way. So, they probably rationalized, it would make sense for the suit to cover Spidey’s old suit, and would NOT make sense for the suit to be patterned with a white spider, for Spidey had never seen this design, and the suit would therefore not pick up on Spidey’s like for the design.
Since the suit they designed for the movie has a web-like pattern raised above the regular fabric, it would logically be visible when the symbiote suit covers him. Now, for the villains. Yes, I have heard the Sandman will be featured, and have seen pictures. Yes, Eddie Brock will be featured, though, most horribly, played as Topher Grace, though I’ve seen no evidence of action with him as Venom. As for rumors of Harry as the Green Goblin, or Hobgoblin, he could be playing either, or neither in this film. The only evidence that suggests he will be playing one of these villains is the foreshadowing in the previous film. As for which Goblin he will appear as, I believe it safe to assume that if he DOES appear in this film, he will be the Hobgoblin, though Harry only ever appeared as the second Green Goblin in the comics, and Roderick Kingsley as the Hobgoblin. My reasoning for this is based on the fact that the film makers probably want to feature as many DIFFERENT villains as they can, and so would incorrectly name Harry as the Hobgoblin, though the idea of him as the second Green Goblin would be generally the same. Satisfied?
I hope they’ll show Venom in all his power, with cars flying through the air, a lot of destruction, and so on and so on...I want to see Venom like a real predator, hunting spiderman.

Well he could be, there is a rumored 4th villain (i think hob goblin or lizard). No one knows for sure, so wait untill may, 2007.

I agree with most of you, in the old Spiderman comics the symbiote suit did have a White Spider almost covering his whole chest and it connected at the sides. Instead of that, there is a piece of crap silver spider that only over about 1/4 of his chest. There’s something wrong with that. Even though it does look like an OK movie, they still made quite a few mistakes. Like in the trailer, you see hobgoblin flying towards Spiderman and he DOESN’T have a mask on.
And when Spiderman rips off his costume, it would regenerate. And the eyes on the Symbiote mask are nothing like the real things. And where did that long tounge go? I mean talk about mistakes. And wouldn’t Spiderman turn into Carnage because I saw a guy playing Ultimate Spiderman and when Spiderman gets injected with the Symbiote part he turns into Carnage. So i’m saying they made alot of mistakes in this movie, more than I expected. They should make it more realistic and one heads up to the directors. READ THE OLD SPIDERMAN COMICS!!!

The costume is regenerating look at the cuts. they made the suit look like the real suit because they want it to be easy to understand for the viewers. Venom will be in it because not everyone is signed on for a forth movie they want it to finish they dont want to carry over. It is the second coming of the green goblin. it does have three villains in it because they want the last instalment to be thrilling and the third movie with three villains. Does that make sense for you guys.

3. The “black costume” takes on the appearance of the Spider-Man suit (in the movie) because it flows OVER the suit (so it seems).
4. Yes, they changed his powers a bit in the movies. Like, how he doesn’t need web-shooters. Get over it.

Well I know for sure that Green Goblin two is in this because in the trailer theres a quick part where you see spiderman being smashed into a building by the glider with the Green Goblin if you look carefully. And the picture is fake it colored in you can see the shades and ive seen a the duplicate with the red and blue spidey costume.

first look at spiderman 3 black costume.
This is so fake, and so are most of the other pictures on the net. If you look deep enough you will find the acutual picture and that most of them are blacked over so everything is black. you can see this from the sky as in the proper normal spidy outfit version the sky is a dark blue and everything is not dark and grey.

i’m not really sure what’s in the movie and what’s not but if you watch the teaser from sony’s website and use the space bar to pause you can clearly is the the pumpkin bomb that explodes before you see peter jumping for the ring actually explodes in harry osborne’s face so it is possible that he gets killed but as for him being the green/hobgoblin it could just be a returned attack also you can see some thing in spidey’s eyes in the movie poster of him in the on the church that coulf be the green/hobgoblin

2. the symboite never was a suit like the original spider costume. it was a living organism, it changed at the will of parker. for example- parker wanted a buisness suite it changed into a buisness suite.

yes there is a love triangle between Peter, MJ and some new blonde.
Harry isnt the Green goblin 2 or Hobgoblin, hes some new villain made by the director.
spidey gets infected with the simbiote which makes him go insane/evil.
As for wht is going 2 happen ites ems quite obviose. the actor that plays harry hasnt got a contract 4 another film, raimi also says that the harry timeline will end with this film. conclision= evil spidey kills harry
another fact is that sandman was the one who killed uncle ben, so that will be bad 4 him with spidey gone loopy.
spidey will realise how the suite is affecting him so afetr killing harry by accident he wil go 2 bell tower and take it off.

Everyone needs to realize there will never be a movie where the plot is exact to the comics. its too predictable and just the nature of the business it will never happen. second the actorthat plays Harry, James Franco, has said that he was told he will not be in any of the future spiderman sequels. there is no reason to switch the actor playing Harry and Harry is a large part of peters life not to include in any of the future sequels. so it leaves no other conclusion other than… Harry dies.
