GRINDHOUSE book in the works

January 12th, 2006 by Cinema Eye

I’m eagerly looking forward to GRINDHOUSE from Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Bookgasm reports that a book chronicling the creation of the movie is already in the works: Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Publishing will be publishing a companion hardcover to his upcoming two-fisted anthology film GRINDHOUSE, a post-SIN CITYcollaboration with Quentin Tarantino. Predictably, the book will detail the making of the film, but more enticingly, it also will include an overview of the genre. Scheduled for release later this year from the Weinstein Company, GRINDHOUSE consists of two 60-minute movies: a slasher film directed by Tarantino and a zombie flick from Rodriguez, with fake trailers in between the two features. For more information, visit Troublemaker Publishing.
