Harvey Korman dies at 81.

May 31st, 2008 by Gilbert Seah

Weekend Box Office

One of my favourite comedians passed away at the age of 81 last Thursday.  I will always remember Harvey Korman being tied up and sex-whipped by Cloris Leachman in Mel Brooks’ HIGH ANXIETY.  “You are making far too much noise”, she complains.

Korman never failed attract attention in the comedies he starred in, mostly the series of Mel Brooks films from BLAZING SADDLES, DRACULA: DEAD AND LOVING IT and HISTORY OF THE WORLD PART 1.

But Harvey rose to fame in the earlier Carol Burnett Show.  I will always remember with sadness, Harvey Korman as a great comedian who never failed to make me laugh out loud.  The world will surely miss him.
