INGLORIOUS BASTARDS casting news

FilmFocus recently snagged a quick interview with Michael Madsen during which he let slip some very interesting casting details for INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. There have already been hints of who will be in the cast including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Travolta.

Madsen didn’t mention those names but he did clarify that he would be in the film with Tim Roth, Adam Sandler and Eddie Murphy. Murphy is a name we haven’t heard attached to this project yet but it makes this interesting cast even more intriguing. Madsen also seems confident that the project will start shooting next year.

For those who are unfamiliar with the project, INGLORIOUS BASTARDS is the World War II epic that Quentin Tarantino has been promising for years. “Quentin’s written it now,” Madsen told FilmFocus, “but we’ve not started shooting yet. I’ve read it and you know the Dirty Dozen? It’s a bit like that.”
