INDY box set a bestseller
The Adventures of Indiana Jones has quickly become the best-selling DVD box-set in history. In its first week of release over 1.1 million copies were sold, generating $50 million in retail sales.
RESIDENT EVIL delayed
Resident Evil:Apocalypse has been delayed until September 2004. The film was originally scheduled to open in March 2004. No word was given on the reason for the delay.
THE ALAMO delayed
Disney’s The Alamo has been moved from its Christmas release date and pushed back to sometime in April of 2004. No reason was given, but the grapevine says it has to do with bad test screenings. Response cards indicated that audiences found the film overlong and boring. But this is just a RUMOR…
Lindsay Lohan to headline DRAMARAMA
Lindsay Lohan, the formerly cute child star turned tanning booth victim, has signed on to star in the Warner Brothers comedy Dramarama. The story deals with a rich girl who is forced to attend a public school when her dad loses his job. A drama competition ensues.
Russell Crowe changes his tune
20th Century Fox has recently discredited the stories that Russell Crowe was refusing to give interviews to internet journalists for Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. We still think he is a pompous ***censored*** and that the title of his movie is pretentiously long and will suck.
