Oscar Winner Jack Palance Dies

Jack Palance passed away yestereday at the age of 87.  Best remembered for his Oscar winning role in the comedy, CITY SLICKERS, Palance was previously often cast as a villain due to his craggy face.

Prior to his acting career, he was a successful heavyweight boxer till the outbreak of World War II.  His daughter, Holy Palance played the unfortunate young nanny who dies a horrid death in the original OMEN film.

Palance was always a fit and strong actor.  He did one-handed push-ups after his Oscar acceptance speech for CITY SLICKERS.  He will be surely missed by all.
