PINK PANTHER delayed 6 months
June 7th, 2005 by Cinema Eye
It’s never a good sign when a movie get delayed, especially when it is a high profile major studio release with name talent. So the fact that THE PINK PANTHER has been moved from Summer 2005 to February 2006 might lead you to believe that this movie is going to suck even more than you originally thought. Sony’s Rory Bruer: “With the recent acquisition of MGM, we wanted to give our marketing department the time and opportunity to launch this very important franchise. We’ve seen the movie, and we really love this film. It’s a franchise we believe in.” Riiiiiiiiiiiight!

I blame ***censored*** hack director Shawn Levy.
Although I will say that the trailer has a couple of genuine laughs in it, and the recent AMC-broadcast tribute to Martin showed a scene from this that I found to be really funny.
