RACE WITH THE DEVIL to be re-made

If you’ve been watching PROJECT GREENLIGHT you will be familiar with the name Chris Moore. He’s the producer in charge of making sure the movies by these first time directors actually get made. Now, probably as payback for enduring three season of reality TV, Moore will be making his directorial debut with a remake of the 70’s cult classic RACE WITH THE DEVIL.

I’m over my hate for all the remakes of 1970’s movies and will definitely be interested to see what he does with it. But meanwhile, you should definitely check out the awesome original which features Peter Fonda and Warren Oates. This movie still packs a powerful punch. It tells the story of two couples on vacation who witness a Satanic sacrifice. The cult then hunts them down. Anchor Bay will be re-releasing his on DVD in June. Bought!
