Special Screening of "Monsieur Verdoux"
April 1st, 2008 by Gilbert Seah
This is one of the best news in entertainment. Cinematheque Ontario presents a limited run of one of the finest films ever made. Charles Chaplin’s “Monsieur Verdoux”, a comedy of murders follows the tracks of one Bluebeard who travels the different cities of France marrying and killing off rich middle-aged widows to support a crippled wife and son. I first viewed it in when I was in high school but this classic still remains as one of the most original oldies of all time.
