Upcoming Blockbusters

June 21st, 2006 by Chris Blagden

Cinema Eye Movie News

The Hollywood Reporter has published an exciting article on which new film licenses are being sought after at this week’s ‘Licensing 2006 International trade show in New York’.

Essentially a granted licence offers a studio or production company the opportunity to develop products around some of todays hottest big screen properties and these will be the big movies hitting theatres over the next few years.

These include potential blockbusters such as Spider-Man 3, Shrek the Third, The Simpsons Movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and many many more.

Titles also mentioned include the next installment of Indiana Jones, now scheduled for a 2008 release and new material set in the Star Wars universe, the full story is Hollywood Reporter

    Star Wars News
The Story of Anakin/Vader is not over.
GL will make movies about the Jedi/Sith prophecy and the birth of Anakin.

The new Star Wars Live-Action Show will be starting in fall of 2008 and will run for 100 shows which means it ends in 2011. 2011 is the 35th year of Star Wars.
GL is planing to starting to release prequels to The Phantom Menace. The prequels to The Phantom Menace will not be named Star Wars. The first movie will show the Old Republic and where the Jedi/sith prophecy came from. In 2014, the second movie will come out and will be about the fall of the sith and Darth Plagueis and the origin of Darth Sidious. In 2017, the last movie and will be about the last of the sith and the death of Darth Plagueis, how and why Darth Mual turn to the darkside and the birth of Anakin Skywalker.
If you don’t think this is true.....  Then you have to watch Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith again. In Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, you can see the set up to the prequels to The Phantom Menace. We have seen the birth of luke skywalker and the events leading up to his birth. GL has said the star wars saga is the story of the life of Anakin Skywalker. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith brings up new questions about the events leading up to the birth of Anakin Skywalker.
Don’t forget GL has said many time that “the Star wars saga is about the life and death of Anakin Skywalker, Not Luke”. We have not seen the bigest part of Anakin Skywalker’s life which is his birth.
Just go and watch Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and listen.

    I think tony is right,

    1. Ebert believes more Star Wars films will come: Roger Ebert believes that George Lucas will make more Star Wars films. In the first sentence of his review, Roger Ebert said Star Wars Episode III is “not necessarily the last of the Star Wars movies.” Ebert later explained in an added note, that he believes that the studio will demand more. “Although Lucas has absolutely said he is finished with the series, it is inconceivable to me that 20th Century-Fox will willingly abandon the franchise, especially as Lucas has hinted that parts VII, VIII and IX exist at least in his mind,” explained Ebert. “There will be enormous pressure for them to be made, if not by him, then by his deputies.” Star Wars fannatics all around the world suddenly have hope.

    2. George Lucas talks abouta prequel to The Phantom Menace:  George Lucas said he was finished with the Star Wars movies. Ebert didn’t believe him, Karina didn’t get it, but more importantly - WE wanted more. Stupid Us. It seems George Lucas told a scooper that he has an idea for another add-on to the Star Wars movie series: a prequel to The Phantom Menace. The story would follow the Jedi regaining control of the universe from the many Dark Lords some 88 years before Anakin Skywalker ever graced the universe. Yoda, who, according to Lucas, was instrumental in the effort, would apparently have a headlining role. However, Lucas, now age 60, says he won’t be captaining such a ship if it ever happens.

    3. The Darth Maul mystery: Though curious Star Wars fanatics clamored to rumors that Ray Park would return as Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002), their many speculations were shot down by George Lucas himself with the announcement that although that specific character would not return for Episode II, Park would indeed play a role in the future...” What this role was remains a mystery.
