The on-again off-again PULSE is on again at Dimension. This was originally going to be directed by Wes Craven with Kirsten Dunst in the lead but was cancelled because it was too similar to THE RING. Now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the film is back on with Kristen Bell (VERONICA MARS) cast as the lead. Craven has been replaced by commercial director Jim Sonzero which is really no surprise after all the trauma that went down during the production of CURSED.

“We were all terribly excited about that film and we had the rug pulled out from under us...I could see that movie in my head, it was really going to be scary and fun. It’s extremely frustrating to not be able to do it,” said Craven.

PULSE is a remake of a japanese film directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa which involves teenagers, suicides and webcams.
