Weekend Box Office >> March 25-27
March 27th, 2005 by Cinema Eye
Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher grabbed the top slot at the box-office this weekend with GUESS WHO. Their update of the 1967 film GUESS WHO’S COMING TO DINNNER raked in $21 million dollars. Sandra Bullock’s MISS CONGENIALITY 2: ARMED AND FABULOUS opened Thursday and needed the extra day to pull in $17.6 million. The miserable excuse for a horror film THE RING 2 fell to third place in it’s second weekend.
Scanning the Top 10 list, it’s almost amazing how bland and flat out bad all the movies in the list are (with the exception of MILLION DOLLAR BABY). That should all change next weekend when SIN CITY comes thundering into theaters.
