A new trailer for Takeshi Kitano’s Zatoichi is now online. This completely new footage not seen in the teaser trailer released a few months ago. Zatoichi is a legendary film character in Japan along the lines of Indiana Jones. He is a blind swordsman who wanders the Japanese countryside earning a living by giving massages and gambling. The films are humorous and filled with sword-fighting. I’m really looking forward to seeing Kitano’s take on this character.
