MAN-THING is coming!
Moviehole reports that Brett (LAWNMOWER MAN) Leonard has started filming an adaptation of Marvel Comics’ MAN-THING. The script reportedly has something to do with evil land developers draining the Everglades and some angry indians.
No WOOD for Shyamalan
A Disney spokesman said Wednesday that THE WOODS is just a working title for M. Night Shyamalan’s new feature. There has been some dispute over the title, because director Lucky McKee is also in production on a project entitled THE WOODS. It looks as if McKee’s project gets to keep the name. If anybody hasn’t seen McKee’s previous project MAY, you better get to your video store or better yet, order it today from amazon.com. You won’t be sorry.

FIREFLY:THE MOVIE?
Universal has given Joss Whedon the go-ahead to begin production on a movie version of his television series FIREFLY. This is despite the fact that the show only aired for five episodes and wasn’t really liked by the few people that saw it. Filming is expected to begin in January. Source: Hollywood Reporter.
