Quite a few new films opening this week.  New Line Cinema’s $150 million “The Golden Compass” looks like it will displace “Enchanted” from being #1 at the weekend box-office. This week’s best bets include “Atonment” a stunning period piece and Canada’s own “Poor Boy’s Game”.
