What the Bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole

WHAT THE BLEEP!? DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE the sequel to the 2003 documentary is an extension of the already over-tedious supposedly daring break-all-rules semi-documentary that uses Quantum Physics of possibilities to answer philosophical questions about man’s being in the universe.  Who are we?  Why are we here?  Can we make a difference?  The second film at least blurs the answers to the questions that the first preposterously answered.

The Boys of Baraka

Every year, 20 black at risk boys from an inner-city Baltimore school are ‘selected’ to attend the Baraka School in Kenya, Africa.  These are THE BARAKA BOYS of the film’s title.  Picked because their parents are drug addicts, criminals, gangsters and/or because they themselves are troublesome and rebellious, the project offers these kids a second chance to grow up the way they were supposed to – in an environment where boys will be boys.  At Baraka, the new surroundings offer no television, mobile phones, motor vehicles or electricity after dark.  If an unsatisfied student attempts to run away, he would have to face the fury of the wild animals of the night.

Yuna, an aspiring actress, wins the role of the daughter of a real-life murderer incident in a movie to be filmed at the hotel where the event actually took place. She begins to have visions of the slayings, feeling sprits around and also finds a Super-8 camera with which the murderer filmed his kills.
