Recipes for Disaster
Finnish filmmaker John Webster decides on behalf of his suburban family (wife and two young sons) to go on an oil diet for a year. This oil detox means no new oil products for a whole year which translates to no travelling in cars and airplanes (trains ok) or buying any plastic packaged food and products for that period of time.

Revolutionary Road
Director Sam Mendes returns to familiar territory in a tale of a disgruntled spouse stuck in an unhappy marriage. This time around, the male Kevin Spacey role in his AMERICAN BEAUTY is replaced by that of female April Wheeler (Kate Winslet) who by coincidence ends up in the same demise as the Spacey character at the end of the film.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is not the first film made with time moving backwards. There was one (do not remember the title and unable to locate the name of the famous director) from a famous Mexican director that had all the characters and cars move backwards throughout the entire movie.

Valkyrie
There are two problems with the concept of VALKYRIE the movie. For one, the film about the Germans’ failed Hitler assassination plot has a known outcome. Secondly, the material is limited. The story that includes the planning and execution stages pretty sums up all that the film can offer.
