Unfortunately, harmless fare is not Smith’s forte and this film falls short in laughs, especially when compared to the recent spat of Jude Apatow films, some of which has Rogen in. No prizes in guessing correctly whether Zack and Miri come together at the end. Even the sex jokes are mild in nature. Example: the pick up line: “Don’t thank me. F*** me!”
