In THE ASSASSIN, George Clooney plays Jack, a hit man who has had enough. After having to kill a girlriend (Clooney has a heart, which is the reason he won the Bob Hope Humanitarian award at the 2010 Emmy’s), he swears one last job while he hides out at a small Italian village, Castel del Monte. Contrary to advice, he falls for a local woman, Clara (Violante Placido).

Half way during the execution of an armoured car heist in the movie, one suddenly realizes that something is amiss in all the excitement. No one has bothered to explain what is going on and how the heist was to be executed in the first place.

Documentaries fall into different categories. The most common category has a strong message to tell which hopefully will change the world. This includes films like AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH, THE COVE and FUEL, which did make a difference in the environment and the stoppage of the dolphin slaughter.

THE LAST EXORCSM has doubtful priest (THE EXORCIST also featured a doubtful priest Jason Miller) performing an exorcism. The difference here is not the question of the priest’s faith, but whether the girl is genuinely possessed or a bit mental.

The successful and widely seen PAX AMERICANA, GASLAND and FUEL are just 3 cover-up docs that have recently hit the screen. But THE TILLMAN STORY is more moving as the problem here feels more personal as it affects a typical family.
